He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
    REV 13:18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.
    REV 14:9 A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10 he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." 12 This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
    REV 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on."
    "Yes," says the Spirit, "they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them."
    REV 6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, "How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been was completed.
    REV 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

  Everyone will get to choose whether or not they receive the “mark”. Without the “mark” you will not be able to buy food so people better figure out how to get along together and need to decide if they are going to follow mans law which in the United States number over 30 million or the words of Jesus, love God and treat people like you want to be treated.
  There is nothing in the Scriptures that exempt “Christians” from the sufferings foretold in Revelations. For 2000 years now people have been murdered for saying they believe in Christ; What makes the “Christians” of the United States think that they are so privileged that they will not have to suffer for their beliefs.

  Long ago Ben Franklin stated: Those that would trade freedom for security deserve neither freedom nor security.
  Receiving the “mark” will trade your freedom for security but only for a little while, after that people will have to face the consequences of their choice.
